As Wholesale Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing the commercial strategy for the wholesale channel across the BeLux region. This includes managing relationships with national and regional wholesalers, increasing product availability, driving volume growth, and ensuring effective activation and visibility of the Farm Frites portfolio within the wholesale environment.

Key responsibilities

Wholesale strategy and channel development

  • Develop and implement the wholesale channel strategy within your area of responsibility.

  • Identify and prioritise growth opportunities across national and regional wholesale partners.

  • Strengthen Farm Frites’ presence in cash & carry, delivered wholesale, and foodservice wholesale.

  • Expand distribution and drive sustainable volume growth within the wholesale channel.

Relationship and account management

  • Build, maintain and develop strong partnerships with key wholesale customers at both national and regional level.

  • Negotiate annual agreements, pricing, rebates, promotions and distribution targets.

  • Conduct annual and quarterly business reviews with wholesale partners.

  • Ensure consistent execution of commercial plans and marketing activations.

Commercial execution

  • Manage listings, product launches and assortment optimisation within wholesale accounts.

  • Co-ordinate and implement promotional activities, POS materials and in-store activations.

  • Monitor pricing strategies and ensure competitive positioning across wholesalers.

  • Drive visibility and performance in cash & carry outlets through regular visits and audits.

Market and data analysis

  • Analyse wholesale trends, category developments and competitor activity within the BeLux region.

  • Monitor customer performance, stock levels, product rotation and margins.

  • Provide channel insights and recommendations to the Country Manager / Sales Director and wider sales team.

  • Use data and reporting tools to support decision-making, forecasting and business planning.

Cross-functional collaboration

  • Work closely with colleagues in Marketing, Supply Chain, Customer Service and Finance.

  • Align demand planning and forecasting with logistics and operational teams.

  • Support Field Sales teams and distributors with channel-specific guidance, tools and training.

Reporting and administration

  • Report regularly on wholesale performance, opportunities, risks and competitive developments.

  • Maintain accurate customer information, contracts and activity records within the CRM system.

  • Contribute to annual budgeting, sales planning and volume forecasting.

Your team

You will be part of our Sales team and will report to the Country Manager / Sales Director.

What you bring

Education and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or equivalent relevant experience.

  • At least 5 years of commercial experience in foodservice, FMCG or wholesale.

  • Proven experience in managing wholesale accounts.

  • Strong knowledge of the wholesale environment, including cash & carry, foodservice distributors and delivered wholesale.

Skills and competencies

  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.

  • Commercially astute, analytical and opportunity-driven.

  • Able to work independently with strong organisational skills.

  • Hands-on approach, with a willingness to spend significant time in the field.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Languages

  • Professional command of English.

Other requirements

  • Willingness to travel extensively within the region (typically 40–60%).

  • Full valid driving licence.
