National Account Manager

Foodservice Chained operators

 

What does your team look like?

This job is part of the Sales department. The National Account Manager reports to the Commercial Director and works closely together with him/her, as well as with colleagues at Sales, Marketing, Quality, Commercial Finance, Customer Service, and Demand Planning for the alignment of activities/execution of agreements.

 

What will you be doing?

To realise commercial objectives (turnover, profit, market share) for key accounts ( Chained operators) by helping develop the sales strategy. In order to do so you are responsible for:

 

  •   Sales 
  • Initiates marketing and commercial campaigns based on commercial opportunities in the market;
  • Takes care of – customer-driven – negotiations and draws up offers, based on profitability and price indications. Finalises the contract after consultation with his/her superior;
  •   Relationship Management: 
  •   Marketing and sales strategy:
    • Provides input on optimisation and opportunities regarding products and marketing
  • Realises partnerships at designated Chained operators for recurring sales;
  • Consults with business relations on opportunities or complaints that have arisen, and takes solution-driven action in collaboration with Customer Service and/or Quality;
  • Maintains  and  uses  (local)  networks,  trade  fairs,  and  presentations  to  generate  and
  • perpetuate business;
  • Ensures that business relations promote Farm Frites products to their customers, raising Farm Frites’ profile.
  • campaigns; 
  • Analyses market information, developments, and trends, and proactively works these analyses out into new sales opportunities within the objectives and available budget;
  • Prepares account plans and works out (makes preparations for) the pricing strategy in
  • collaboration with Commercial Finance;

     

     

      

    What do you need?

  • Intellectual ability and work experience at higher education level;
  • Knowledge of sales in the key accounts and channel ( especially Pub and Casual dining sector): relationship management, sales strategy;
  • Knowledge of market position, production, competitive conditions; 
  • Knowledge of Marketing, PR trends, negotiation techniques, and sales techniques;
  • Knowledge of legislation and regulations in the area of sales: financial and legal implications;
  • Knowledge of MS Office.
  • You don’t take no for an answer.
